Weska
biography
Weska‘s journey as an artist has been one of hard work and dedication, culminating in the release of his music on some of the most prestigious labels in the industry. From Drumcode to Mute, Cocoon to Bedrock, Kraftek to Filth On Acid, and more recently Factory 93, Weska’s talent and drive have earned him a place among the greats.
But Weska’s success isn’t limited to his work with these esteemed labels. His Waves selfreleases have been a major triumph, allowing him to fully express his creative vision and showcase the evolution of his genre-fusing sound. The Wave series is also an ode to his other love: surfing. The way Weska sees it, waves are powerful, ever-changing, in constant motion, and continuously evolving: they’re a Force of Nature that mirrors the energy and flow within his music.
It’s this willingness to take risks and push boundaries that sets Weska apart as an artist.
In addition to his solo work, Weska has also had the honour of collaborating with some of the biggest names in the business, including Sven Väth, Bart Skils, Pleasurekraft and Quivver to name a few. Each of these partnerships has allowed Weska to grow as an artist and bring his unique blend of technical prowess and artistic vision around the world.
Notable gigs include his residency with Eric Prydz at Hi Ibiza, the Drumcode Showcase at The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and Creamfields.
As he continues to innovate and create, one thing is certain: his boundless talent and passion for his craft are making an iconic mark in music.
