Timmo
biography
Valeri Ivanov “Timmo” was born in Pleven, Bulgaria (1989). His talent in music was first sparked at the age of fourteen when he started composing music in popular genres. Despite the fact he was sixteen, he was drawn and fascinated by the underground clubbing scene. This new interest had an immediate impact on his own music productions. https://www.technicalonlinecodes.com/
By the end of 2009 Timmo got his first break in the music industry. His collaboration with his good friend PHM won the “WE LOVE SPACE...” contest and their remix of TRNSSTR’ “The Joker” was released on Timo Garcia’s Berwick Street. The remix was featured in Carl Cox Global and was one of the top arsenals of Timo Garcia’s own sets for a long time.
Timmo’s career was full speed ahead as he found his new home in the name of the dutch techno label co-founded by Remy and duo On/Off – Fone Audio. After numerous releases, played and supported by the likes of Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, among many others, Timmo scored his first record to Sian’s Octopus Recordings. That was clearly not enough, as he also mixed a VA Compilation for the imprint, including tracks by Slam, Juan Sanchez, himself and more. To finish 2013 at top level, Valeri made appearance on Markantonio’s Analytictrail with his 3-tracker “Bermuda”.
We should also mention numerous remixes he did for artists such as Sam Paganini, Jewel Kid, The Junkies and Worakls to name a few. https://www.enspecifications.com/
In 2014 things got pretty serious for the 24year old Bulgarian, as he signed his first record to the most successful and honored techno label – Drumcode. All four tracks made it to the Beatport charts, as “Canvas” was Timmo’s all-time best. It was not only played by the biggest names in the techno scene like Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and Sasha, but also found place in the mixes of Tiësto, Above & Beyond and Roger Sanchez among others.
The success Timmo had with his music, quickly started to give its fruits. For the past years, he spread his sound over some highly rated clubs such as Sugarfactory in Amsterdam, La Guacara Taina (The Cave) in Santo Domingo, which is one of the most interesting clubbing locations in the world, as the club is an actual underground cave. Timmo joined the well-known Komplex 457 in Zurich, Magdalena in Berlin, Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt, Cabaret Aleatoire in Marseille and many other clubs around the globe in countries like Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Dominican Republic, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia and more.
